Supreme Court cases

I tried to post via email earlier but it didn't work. Damnit.

Beard v. Banks - death penalty and habeas

Blakely v. Washington [I saw this one argued - upward departure in
sentencing, sentencing guidelines, and right to jury trial - check out the
justice split in this one]

Cheney gets to keep his papers private, for now

Schiro v. Summerlin - Is Ring/Apprendi retroactive for death penalty
sentencing? NO.

Tennard v. Dretke - more death penalty sentencing, mental retardation
